Course Description:

Questioning drives so much of the interaction that takes place between teachers and learners. But what role does questioning play in effective assessment for learning? And how can teachers use questioning to assess learning and adapt their teaching in response? In this course, we’ll delve into these questions and find the answers.

Key Learning Objective: To be able to assess the key benefits of opening up success criteria for targeting student effort, engaging students in learning and improving learning outcomes.

Subsidiary Learning Objective: To be able to effectively apply and then critique at least two different methods for opening up success criteria in your own classroom.
