Course Description:

This course is designed to help you build a better understanding of the interpersonal skills needed to create healthy relationships at work and tools to help with the development of these skills to make you more effective when you communicate and manage your relationships at school.

Course Learning Objectives:

  • Define the key components of interpersonal skills, including self-awareness, self-regulation, social awareness, and social skills.
  • Understand the motives behind their actions and apply strategies to master and control them.
  • Develop self-control and utilise techniques to strengthen it.
  • Cultivate integrity as a foundation for trust and respect in professional relationships.
  • Practice empathy to connect with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Enhance active listening skills to build deeper connections and resolve conflicts.
  • Demonstrate respect for diversity and apply inclusive practices in the school community.
  • Engage in teamwork and collaboration, understanding how to make teams function harmoniously.
  • Provide constructive feedback that fosters growth and development among peers and students.

Resources & Assessment:

  • The course provides a range of resources to support learners and facilitate the application of acquired knowledge.
  • The course incorporates a comprehensive final assessment, known as the ‘Course Test’, designed to evaluate participants’ understanding of the essential concepts covered throughout the course. Upon successfully passing this test, participants will be awarded a course certificate.
